So I spent the weekend ill and miserable. Not sure what I had, but the Z Pack cured me and I am back at work today.

I woke up Saturday still feeling crappy after having left work early on Friday, but the day was beautiful and I had PLANNED on going to CF that morning so I felt like moving around in the fresh air would help my gross congested lungs so I went. That was dumb. I immediately came down with a fever afterward and spent the rest of the day on the couch in a heap of misery. (but hey I got my WOD in and finished under cut off :p)

Rob wound up helping me complete the Well Fed Cinnamon Beef Stew (updated the previous blog post with a picture), and then Sunday I made a giant batch of Chicken Noodle Soup. Yes, the noodles were noodles.

Exciting things:

I ordered a new jump rope. Last week, after a DU WOD, my jump rope was missing, and left in its place was a green one similar to mine, however this one was literally broken and wretched. I took it home thinking mine had been stepped on and I would repair it (with duct tape), but after further inspection, this jacked up rope ‘aint mine at all, and never was! So, I hopped on Amazon and bought myself a ProSource Silver Rope, and bought Rob a blue one. Hooray new ropes! I will post pictures when they arrive.

Also coming in the mail is a Sox Box order!! I recently wore our Bacon socks to a WOD and felt like I had magical powers, and knew i had to have more crazy knee socks. So, to the Sox Box I went for my craving. If you haven’t visited Sox Box, you should! http://thesoxbox.com/

So I ordered 4 pairs of socks, but I’m not going to tell you which ones yet because that will be a picture surprise too.

Today is Deadlift day! (I wish I had my Deadlift socks already). Whoops, ruined one of the surprises. One of the pairs is a DEADLIFT pair. Here is a sneak peak:

B. 2 rounds for time of an 8 minute AMRAP of:

5 HSPU

10 burpee box jumps 24″/20″

15 V-ups

20 KBS 32kg/24kg/16kg

2 minute rest between rounds
